15-04-10: The Calendar Page has been updated with details of the current Outdoor Shooting Season; this includes the new postal league shoots for Longbow, Recurve and Compound. Many thanks to our Records Officer, Ann Lee, for pulling it all together so well.

15-04-10: New Photo Galleries, courtesy of Eric Coggins, have been added. These include the National Indoor Championships at Lilleshall and a Have-a-Go at Hetton. A full list of all photographs can be found on our Flickr Photo Service via the Gallery Page.

28-02-10: This Wednesday, 8th March, sees the start of our third Beginners' Course. There will be no Wednesday shooting for members, other than this past year's beginners, until 24th March.

22-02-10: At the National Indoor Championships / Home Nations Tournament at Lilleshall, Zoe Coggins, representing England at Senior level, added yet more success to her illustrious recent achievements.
Finishing fourth overall in the ranking tournament with a score of 569, she really found her form in the Head-to-Head round; shooting 12-arrow rounds, she equalled the Junior National record with 117 points, a fantastic result eclipsed only by her winning the tournament itself. Apparently, this is the first time ever that an archer has held both Junior and Senior National titles at the same time.
Zoe also helped the England team, with whom she has seen more considerable success, to an another overall win. A great day and a better result for one of the best young archers around; many, many congratulations!

19-01-10: The Calendar Page has been updated with the major tournaments of the outdoor season. Cleadon club rounds and competitions will be added closer to the end of the indoor season.

19-01-10: Many congratulations to Zoe and Jess who have both been selected to shoot for the Great Britain Archery team; they wil be involved in training sessions as well as tournaments in Germany and Italy. Very well done to both of you!
Kudos also goes to Zoe as, at the Ponteland 'Vegas' shoot, she finished as first lady compound with both a club and county record score.
